Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy separates Clipperly SaaS subscriptions from appointment payments collected by individual shops.

Clipperly subscriptions

You can schedule cancellation from Billing. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period unless stated otherwise. Subscription fees already paid are generally non-refundable for change of mind, but this does not limit rights under New Zealand law. Contact us promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect or the service has materially failed.

Trials and upgrades

The trial does not require a card and ends after 14 days. Upgrades to a paid plan start when Stripe confirms payment. Upgrading an existing paid plan takes effect immediately and may create a prorated charge through the next billing date.

Appointment cancellations and deposits

Each shop sets its cancellation window and is the merchant responsible for its haircut or salon service. Where a paid Stripe deposit is linked to an appointment and that appointment is cancelled through Clipperly, the refundable balance is submitted back to the original payment method. A shop may also record a partial or full refund. Bank processing times are controlled by Stripe and the card issuer.

No-shows, late cancellations, and disputes

A shop may apply a clearly disclosed no-show or late-cancellation policy where lawful. Contact the shop first about an appointment charge. If a card dispute is opened, Stripe and the card network determine the outcome; Clipperly records the dispute so the shop can respond.
